Supporting African refugees and asylum seekers in Manchester, who face multiple disadvantages, including language and cultural barriers which prevent them from accessing statutory and voluntary services such as employment, education, health housing.
The mainstream society also benefit from our services in terms of improved communication between our service users and mainstream providers as we refer appropriate cases to relevant organisations, therefore increasing the use and access to their services via advocacy, interpretation and translation services.
We support our beneficiaries through:
- Provision of human resources and skills training
- Provision of advocacy, advice and information
- Provision of direct services to support people at the margins of society.
